Gabby Rivas-Field, MA, LPCC
Somatic Attachment-Based Psychotherapist
Gabby Rivas-Field is a pre-licensed somatic attachment-based psychotherapist in the
state of Colorado specializing in premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), attachment
trauma, and complex trauma. Her work centers on supporting individuals who are
navigating the layered emotional terrain of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood,
especially those who feel activated by the transition and fear repeating harmful patterns
from their own upbringing.
Gabby offers compassionate care for those experiencing relationship shifts, identity
grief, disconnection, perfectionism, somatic symptoms, and the pressure to "over-
prepare" as a way to cope. She is particularly attuned to the impact of intergenerational
trauma and attachment stress on birthing people and their families.
Gabby’s intention is to create a warm, grounded space where clients can be fully
witnessed in their wholeness. Rooted in the belief that deep wisdom lives in the body,
her approach offers gentle scaffolding to help clients reconnect with themselves from
the inside out through sensation, emotion, and thought. This embodied, trauma-
informed method supports self-regulation, deep inner awareness, and the reclaiming of
personal agency.
Gabby works with clients both in-person and virtually through Prosopon Therapy, based
in Boulder, Colorado.
