Originally from New England, I found my way to Boulder County in 2010, drawn to the people and limitless outdoor activities found here. I followed my heart to the Lyons Farmette in 2015, where I met my husband and grew our former business on the land and wedding venue held there. In being a flower farmer and wedding florist for a dozen years, I have been so grateful to bear witness to hundreds of couples commit themselves in ceremony and launch themselves into life together.
Following the birth of my daughter in 2023, I knew that I wanted to transition into a role that supports folks in an arguably bigger ceremony and expansion of themselves. My daughter’s birth day was the most empowering day of my life and I am incredibly passionate about supporting birthing folks’ in experiencing a similar story, no matter what their experience
looks like. There is not a “right” way to experience a prenatal, birth, and postpartum journey and I believe that people inherently have the power and wisdom to create a journey that feels amazing for them. There’s nothing better for me than witnessing people realize their capabilities.
In working with me, expect me to meet you where you are at. Also expect adaptability, gentility, patience, compassion, and a grounding energy. I believe in deep presence and dropping into whatever energy the room holds in order to better support you and your circle. I draw on my training in yoga, breath-work, and energy work to help people trust themselves and work with their bodies and babies. I also understand that there are remarkable ways to use hands, gravity and positioning to aide and relief in supporting the powerful force that is labor and delivery. I am very grateful to partner with Amy Meilen, a dear friend and incredible mentor. Our support styles are truly complementary and in working with us as a pair, you will experience a lot of heart, intuition, knowledge, and experience.
In my free time I love running, yoga, quality time with my husband, cooking and crafting with my daughter, many different art mediums, and listening to various kinds of music.
I will forever be a student and always have another training or certification program on the horizon to expand my own knowledge and better serve the families that I support.
I currently am trained in the following:
DONA, CPR, Yoga Alliance 200 HR, 25 Yin, Reiki Level I, Transformational Breath®
Upcoming trainings: Innate Postpartum Care
Serving Boulder County, most of Larimer County, and parts of other Front Range counties. I live in Lyons and will travel a 40 mile radius to support you and your growing family!
