I’m Carlie Schofield, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), mom of three, and world explorer.
My passion is supporting Women’s Health, whether that is through education or hands on
care, I’m here for it. I’ve spent the majority of my life working with women from all over the
world. I spent 3 months in Ghana, Africa teaching and researching HIV/AIDS, years at
WIC in SLC helping women learn to breastfeed, and in Berlin, Germany, leading an English
speaking lactation and feeding support group. Here in Colorado, I run an infant feeding
support group as well as provide in-home post partum doula care & infant feeding
consultations.
When my second baby came 6 weeks early, I navigated many of my own feeding
challenges, and I could not have done it without the support of great lactation consultants. I
knew after that experience that I wanted to provide new parents with support, love, care and
resources. My goal is to help you in whatever way you need as you navigate this
period–because real life starts when you get back home, and support shouldn’t stop at
discharge.
It is my privilege to be part of a family’s journey. I love working together to reach feeding
goals, provide information, and give support. The baby snuggles are the icing on the cake!
